This four-bedroom home located at 38077 Touchstone Farm Lane in Hillsboro is new on the market for $1,200,000.
While the home has a Hillsboro address, it is located in a small enclave of 15 homes about two miles from downtown Purcellville off Route 287, according to listing agent Ariana Gillette of Pearson Smith Realty.
Built in 2019 by Evergreene Homes, the home has $100K in builder upgrades and another $64K in additions since the current owners moved in, she said.
Walking through the front door, there is a “stunning” wide hardwood staircase with “gorgeous” lighting, Ariana Gillette said.
“What everyone loves about the home are the wide plank hardwood floors. They are gorgeous, modern and clean looking,” she said.
On the main level, there is a front sitting room with French doors and a spacious dining room. Between the dining room and kitchen, there is a small butler’s pantry and down the hallway there is an open and bright family room and kitchen area. The family room has a coffered ceiling and a gas fireplace.
The kitchen is a “nice farmhouse style kitchen” with white cabinets, quartz countertops and all the bells and whistles, she said.
“It has pretty drawer pulls, soft close drawers, a farm sink, and a walk-in huge pantry. It is really nicely outfitted,” she said.
The house has a structural bump out in the sunroom/morning room which adds space to the eat in kitchen area and provides direct access to the backyard.
Also on the main level are a mudroom, powder room and another separate office or playroom.
Every room has wood privacy blinds that convey with the home which complement the flooring “beautifully,” Gillette said.
There is a split two-way staircase leading upstairs to four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is also a laundry room with a sink and tile flooring on the second level.
All of the rooms are “professionally” painted in neutral colors. The primary bedroom has walk-in closets and a nice bathroom with subway tiles, dual sinks, a bathtub, standing shower and oil- rubbed bronze fixtures.
The 2,000-square-foot lower level is unfinished and has a rough-in for another bathroom.
The exterior has many beautiful features including a spacious front porch, a fenced in yard, a new Trex deck and raised garden beds.
“It is a gorgeous 1.25-acre lot with the best views in the neighborhood,” Ariana said. “It looks out over an incredible wooded view into the valley; it is so pretty.”
Other additions to the home include a full-house generator, Comcast high speed internet and a water filtration system.
The property is within close proximity to a variety of activities including wineries, breweries, the Shenandoah River, biking and running on the W&OD Trail and much more.
